The Cambridge society visited Fawley Hill Museum on an open day on the 4th June 2017. We rode the Hudswell Clarke 0-6-0ST No.31 and the Class 03 0-6-0 diesel locomotive, no D2120.
Glastonbury 2017 was a dry event (weatherwise). Started on Wednesday with sun and 30C. Next day there was cloud and odd drizzle, not enough to keep the dust down though. Headline acts were Radiohead, Foo Fighters and Ed Sheeran.
Our trip to France and Spain in the Camper Van. Twenty two days staying at no place more than three nights., and trying to keep travel time to no more than 4-5 hours. Our first long trip in the van after it had been converted.
Red Kites, a Buzzard, Rooks and Magpies feast on the remains of four Pheasants in our field. There is quite an interaction between the different birds.
