July 31st, before the party, we visited some historic sites near to Inverness. First off was the Cawdor castle. Alas no pictures from the magnificent interior, though some from the gardens as we ducked the rain showers.
Then onto Clava Cairns, and more showers. Sorry the photographs were taken from the shelter of the trees.
Finally Culloden, where the sun shone and where we whipped the Scottish.
