On our second full day at Sacha lodge we were greeted with a beautiful sunny day.  We started off with a boat trip down the Amazon to a a viewing spot on the river of a Parrot Lick.  This was incredible, the parrots hanging onto the clay cliff eating the clay.  This aided in the digestion of the food.  An early version of milk of magnesia.  On the boat ride back there were some really cute owls sitting on logs by the river.

We took more canoe trips, walks through the forest, a climb up a viewing platform build on a kapok tree.  The evening ended with a BBQ and a swim in the lake with the crocodiles and piranha.  We also had a great trip in a canoe through the forest at night in a canoe.
