March 18th 2011 we visited the National Trust house of Upton Park. Fabulous house created by Lord and Lady Bearsted. Lord Bearsted was the former chairman of Shell. He was an avid collector of art and stored much of it in Upton House. When he died his collection and house was donated to the National Trust. His treasures are on display.
You are able to read diaries, and listen to 1930s radio broadcasts, and play snooker.
