The annual tug of war over the brook was held again. The weather omens were not good, with a torrential down pour at 10.00. As it happened the rain held off, and the sun peeked through the clouds on occasions.

Wotton again beat Kingswood, though at one stage on the third pull, it seemed Kingswood had the edge. Alas Kingswood had given their best, and quickly crumbled.
