I visited Olympic Wings on the 24th of March for a week’s paragliding.  This was not to be.  The wind was too strong for most of the week.   I managed a couple of flights of around 10 minutes each on Wednesday.

The whole week started off badly.  I managed to miss the plane out to Athens by a whole day.  Finally, on the way back I again missed the flight back from Athens.  So here we have a quick view of some pictures taken that week.

Instead of paragliding we did a visit to the monastery area of Meterora, where high rock towers have had monasteries build on top of them.  I had been here the previous year.  This time I was able to get to see more of the monasteries.

After missing my homeward journey, I stayed a night in Athens. In the morning I had a trip around the Acropolis.  Doing this in March was great.  It was just the right temperature.  Here are some pictures of the stones around there.
