Saturday. Flew out to Guernsey and went food shopping.

Sunday. Walked at Torteval, and lunch at the Atlantic. Mike and Ann arrived in the evening after a very bumpy flight over with a tremendous wind.

Monday. Went to Aladdin’s Cave where Selina bought a wretched Troll. Mike bought her another later. We met the others for lunch at the Favorita and then showed them around St Peter Port, by the Fort, Battery and Aquarium.

Tuesday. Walked around Lihou island. (House shut as usual). Torrential rain and high winds. Then drove over to the Coach House Gallery. Steve bought a book of Science Fiction Posters (yuck). Onto Oatlands where Selina bought marbles. Back to the flat and finished off a jigsaw.

Wednesday. Walked from Icart to Petit Bot bay in the most appalling rain. It felt like needles and was blowing a gale. The men moved the cars around. Ann said he would kill Mike id he and Steve were sitting in a pub somewhere. Lunch at the Imperial after changing the sodden clothing at La Grande Mare.

Thursday. Rather a Sunny day. We should have gone to Herm. Lunch at the Imperial again. Walked along the cliffs on the South Coast. Lovely views and no rain. We passed a huge gorgeous rambling house.

Friday. Walked around the reservoir. Then went to Jerbourg to walk to Telegraph Bay. Saw black clouds coming, so went to buy some magazines. Lunch at the Atlantic and then to Saint Peter Port where Selina bough and another Game Gear electronic game and Steve bought some whiskies. A very boozy evening, so I crawled into bed early. Steve still managed to watch Star Trek.

Saturday. Early morning flight home and then a breakfast stop on the drive home.
