This year we celebrated Selina's MA graduation, had a wonderful holiday in the Ecuador, traveled through France to the South coast and stayed with Linda and Mike on the way home. We saw the Olympic flame pass by Selina and Phil's home.

On July 25th Steve set out to France with a group from Thames Valley to fly at Lake Annecy. We stayed at Irwyns farmhouse, the Maison du Moulin. I visited Chicago for 2 weeks in August to help my American colleagues with Websphere Version 4. We were due to change our development platform from Visual Age for Java to Websphere Studio Application Developer. See my diary entries for a day by day blow of what I did. Family get together in Kingswood before Peter and Nic depart for New Zealand. Saturday 7th September 2001 Rosemary and I visited Cambridge on the 27th September for a long weekend of lectures given to the Alumni. We arrived early Friday and had various tours and lectures through the weekend. Our annual holiday to Guernsey
