Rosemary and I are keen supporters of the Cambridge Society. We have been on every weekend trip organised by the Berkshire branch of the Cambridge Alumni, bar the first two. There will be pictures in this gallery for most these weekends, except the weekend where I inadvertently deleted all the pictures, including the naked gardeners.
We also attend the alumni weekend in Cambridge in September, often staying in college accommodation to relive my student days. Not so many pictures of those. As an Alumni member of Caius college, we also attend their May week garden party.

13th June saw us visiting Gonville and Caius for lunch, and speeches for the support from the college alumni. The feast was marvellous and scrumptious, with whole crabs by the plate. We met up with Richard and Andrea.
We all drove over to Caius Field to watch the May Bumps. Caius has won head of the river for several years, last year was not a successful year, and Caius dropped down to fourth. This year was a recovery year, and Caius had made two bumps and was lying second. Alas we were not to see a win. Trinity First and Third held on with grim determination.

The weekend started in Gloucester where we had a tour of Gloucester Cathedral, climbing the 249 steps to the top of the tower. On route to the top we stopped to admire the roof space and fire prevention measures and the bells. Following the tower tour, was a tour of the cathedral, and the Harry Potter Cloisters.
