More rock art on the farm next door to Ai Aiba. The farm, Omandumba West, in the Erongo region of Namibia, had some very thin cattle after two years of poor rains. While driving around the farm we also saw a wonderful little lodge built into the rocks for overnight camping. Shower at the top on the balcony. Tin roof water sealed with the ubiquitous foam. Ledges downstairs for bedding. Beautiful view over the valley, South facing.
Lunch provided by the farm sitting in the the sun-shaded kitchen garden. Watched a lizard catch and eat butterflies. Ate smoked zebra, salad, tinned peas with yoghurt and secret mix of herbs.
Evening meal was the best. Impala gazpacho followed by a Kudu steak. Martin, the lodge manager, then gave us a talk about the white lady who we hope to see tomorrow morning.
Yet another beautiful starlight night.
