On July 9th 2012 the Olympic Torch passed Selina and Phil’s house on foot. It passed our house as well, but driven at high speed.  So went to Stoke Mandeville to view it as it passed their house.  The weather was crap, you see it was raining in some of the pictures.  We waited in a very quiet area with only the local neighbours in attendance, and as is usual in these events you meet people who you never knew lived next to you. There was a fairly long set of vehicles which passed, starting with the police and the service vehicles for the sponsors.  Finally the sponsor buses, the other torchbearers, the torch bearer and then the medics on bicycles.  I don’t know
